January 43, 2009, Escondido, California, USA ALLYSON ROACH tries to slip her arms into the jacket with her wedding dress behind the scenes before her wedding Saturday 1/3/09), with help from JO ELLEN HANDELSMAN (cq), right. ROACH lost her sister ASHLEIGH in the 2003 Cedar fire. She survived but with severe burns. Over the past five years she has undergone countless surgeries and skin grafts, studied photography, found a job at Wild Animal Park and now, fallen in love. Her husband, CHRIS WATSON, also an employee at Wild Animal Park, is painfully shy, but the gregarious ALLYSON drew him out of his shell.
